Although most times we like to stand apart from others, in this case, like millions of other website owners, our team uses Google Analytics on our webpage.
Google Analytics is a piece of software that grabs data about our visitors (you). But not in a creepy way. In a "how-can-we-make-our-site-better-for-you?" kind of way.
What does Google Analytics record?
What website you came from to get here.
How long you stay for.
What kind of computer you’re using.
What your interests are
And quite a bit more.
What do we do with your data?
The tracking information allows us to better understand the kind of people who come to our site and what content they find most interesting. This allows us to make better decisions about the design and content within our site.
Every once in a while, we'll compile aggregate statistics about the number of visitors this site receives, the demographics of those visitors, their interests and browsers being used. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting.
Rest easy friends. All of our activities fall within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
Still creeped out?
Don't worry, we get it. Just follow this link to opt out of Google’s advertising tracking cookie or use a browser plugin to opt out of all Google Analytics tracking software.
