4730 tank selector valves

This shows the tank selector valves. This one only has one
chemical tank. Two tank systems would have another valve.
The air valve provides a way to blow the chemical from the
lines. By removing the quick connect from the mixer and putting
the hose in a container. You can save almost the entire chemical
in the lines.
After blowing out the lines you can open the rinse tank valve
and run the pump to clean the pump and lines. |

2” Mixer installed on a John Deere 4730

The mixer mixes the chemical and water as it flows through.
The check valve prevents water from going back into the chemical tank.
The quick connect provides a way to either blow the chemical out with
air, pump it out with the pump and flush the system with water from the
rinse tank. |
